Our Network of Experts

Hermitage Partners maintains a strong network of highly experienced consultants (ex McKinsey, Bain, BCG) and industry experts who are able to provide targeted support on our consulting projects.

Our Approach

Flexible Engagements

We tailor all our engagements to deliver the most impact and value, whether that be from intensive project delivery, periodic advisory support or ad-hoc counsel. We do not require or encourage large teams for long engagements.

Unleveraged Expertise

Hermitage Partners principals are senior, highly experienced practitioners. Our work consists largely of the intensive personal involvement of our principals and, where appropriate, our network of industry experts. We don't seek to do work our clients could do for themselves, but can involve junior consultants to provide analytical support where this is efficient.

Rigour, Insight & Practicality

We pride ourselves that our work combines fact-based, rigorous diagnosis with insightful, practical solutions. We bring a very broad and, where appropriate, leading-edge toolkit to bear and combine this with our extensive practical experience and the knowledge and expertise of our clients. Our solutions are based on fundamental economic principles, are tightly linked to quantitative results and above all are designed to be implementable.

Collaboration and Capability Transfer

Our highly collaborative style involves clients directly in creative problem solving and ensures that our solutions and reasoning are entirely transparent.

In many of our engagements we build in skill transfer opportunities for executive teams, line managers and internal consultants around strategy, problem-solving and the use of analytical frameworks to improve decision-making. Hermitage Partners has taken this a stage further - see Capability Building for how we help our clients stay ahead through better internal strategising capability.
